Refund & Return Policy
At Great Paw Dachshunds, we are committed to providing you with healthy, happy, and well-socialized miniature dachshund puppies. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase and enjoy your new furry friend for many years to come.
However, we understand that sometimes things don’t work out as planned, and you may need to return your puppy to us. We have a flexible and fair return and refund policy that covers the following situations:
– If your puppy is diagnosed with a congenital or hereditary defect that affects its quality of life within one year of purchase, you can return the puppy to us and receive a full refund or a replacement puppy of equal value, subject to availability. You will need to provide a written statement from a licensed veterinarian confirming the diagnosis and the date of onset of the defect.
– If you discover that you or a family member are allergic to your puppy within 14 days of purchase, you can return the puppy to us and receive a full refund. You will need to provide a written statement from a licensed physician confirming the allergy and the date of onset of the symptoms.
– If you experience a personal or financial hardship that prevents you from caring for your puppy within 30 days of purchase, you can return the puppy to us and receive a partial refund of 50% of the purchase price. You will need to provide a written explanation of your situation and the reason for the return.
– If you change your mind about your puppy for any other reason within 7 days of purchase, you can return the puppy to us and receive a partial refund of 75% of the purchase price. You will need to provide a written explanation of your reason for the return.
In all cases, you are responsible for the transportation costs of returning the puppy to us. The puppy must be in good health and condition, free of parasites, and up to date on vaccinations and deworming. You must also return the original health certificate, registration papers, and contract that you received from us.
To initiate a return, please contact us by phone or email and provide your name, address, phone number, email, puppy’s name, date of birth, and microchip number (If puppy was chipped). We will then provide you with instructions on how to proceed with the return.
We reserve the right to refuse a return or refund if we determine that you have violated any of the terms and conditions of our contract, or if we suspect that you have mistreated, neglected, or abused the puppy.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation with our return and refund policy. We hope that you and your puppy will have a long and happy relationship, but if not, we are here to help you find the best solution for both of you.
